Each day U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) oversees the massive flow of people, capital, and products that enter and depart the United States via air, land, sea, and cyberspace.  The volume and complexity of both physical and virtual border crossings require the application of “big data” solutions to promote efficient trade and travel.  Further, effective “big data” solutions help CBP ensure the movement of people, capital, and products is legal, safe, and secure.  In response to this challenge, Adtech, as a trusted mission partner of CBP, seeks capable, qualified, and versatile Business SM Specialist – SME II to facilitate data-driven decision making in response to national security threats. 

Role and Responsibilities

The SME II provides independent oversight and review of multiple program task areas, providing recommendations for improvement to systems and applications where requested. The SME must have a demonstrated understanding of the DHS Systems Engineering Life Cycle (SELC), Processing Applications, independent test and evaluation processes and procedures as they apply to solution areas. The SME is responsible for coordinating Project activities and projects with other customer organizations.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

The PM must have a:

• BS or BA degree and 10 years’ experience

or

• MS degree and 7 years’ experience with testing, deployment, and O&M of technology activities within DHS

The PM must be a US Citizen, with an active DHS CBP background investigation or be capable of passing one.
